Petition Action

If the banks get themselves into financial trouble in the future they won't be bailed out with public money

Additional Information

After the 2008 financial meltdown caused in no doubt by unquestionably bad money management by the banks this petition is to ensure that if they continue to operate in a irresponsible way, the public purse will not be used to enable them to continue their lavish lifestyle while the common man/woman suffers the consequences, such as not having the finances to adequately support the police in situations such as the recent riots across the country, not having the resources to continue adequate support of education leading to the massive rise in tuition fees next year, shorter jail sentences for serious crime due to lack of funds to house inmates, soaring NHS waiting times.
Please don't let this happen again, there needs to be legislation in place to make it known this type of behaviour will not be tolerated by the British people in the future!
