as the PM resign call for a general election to decide who the UK want for PM
People in the UK decided to leave the EU because they didn't wanted to have un- elected people to govern the country. As the PM decided to resign it's time to have a general election to decide who the people want as PM not some people from a party that would be impose a new PM
