A referendum with a majority of fewer than 10% should be discounted.
That almost half the country is being forced into a course of action with which they actively disagree is wrong. Nigel Farage, pre-referendum, stated that a 48/52 vote would be "unfinished business". I don't tend generally to agree with Farage but, here, I do.
Some people who voted 'Leave' have already acknowledged that their vote was a protest vote, not intended to drive change. Others woke up to the reality of what they'd done and immediately wished to change their minds. Let's give them a chance!
