GIVE VOTING RIGHTS TO EU NATIONALS LIVING IN UK FOR MORE THAN 15 YRS
In the Brexit referendum, Brits living abroad less than 15 years and all
Commenwealth citizens living in the UK were allowed to vote. It does not make sense for the government not to allow EU citizens to have a vote.
EU citizens living in the UK contribute financially, they are here legally and are often not allowed to vote in their home countries.
Equal rights should include the right to vote.
If the government has decided that Brits living abroad for more then 15 years should not be able to vote, then it should be obvious to grant EU citizens living here for 15 years and more the right to vote.
Many of the European nationals have not changed their passport because there was no need to.
