No Taxation Without Representation - Give The Vote To 16 and 17 Year Olds
We expect young people to pay tax as soon as they start earning, but we do not allow them a say in how the country is run and governed. This is morally reprehensible behaviour by our nation. Young people are much better educated and informed in today's world and well capable of the big decisions
Simply looking at the impact that young people had in the Scottish Referendum compared to the exclusion they suffered in the EU referendum - these are the people who are expected to deal with the consequences of the decision for the longest time
