For the stability of the UK, any future in/out EU referendums should be denied.

Petition Details

There is an ongoing petition for a new EU in/out debate which could lead to a new referendum. This obviously could lead to future referendums on the same subject which would hinder the governance of the United Kingdom severely, is untenable and would destabilize our system of democracy.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
