Cut Parish Council numbers

Additional Information

Parish Councils presently cost over £400,000,000 per annum to run. This is inexcusable given the lack of meaningful work for them to do in this day and age. They should be subject to external efficiency scrutiny with a view to cutting their numbers (about 10,000) by at least half within a year.

This petition seeks to begin the process.
