Petition Action

A Parliamentary Vote on whether to accept the result of the EU referendum

Petition Details

The UK Government has a duty to act in the best interests of our nation and discharge this duty with the highest degree of care and skill based on the facts available. Complex issues of great importance to the Nation should not be decided by an opinion poll.

Additional Information

Issues of great complexity are not fully understood by all the people. Information they are provided with may be incorrect, misinterpreted or misrepresented.
As a nation we pay a huge amount of money for our government and its advisers and it is their responsibility to undertake the governance of the nation. It is their responsibility to take decisions and not put such matters back into the hands of the population at large.
