Petition Action

Respect the majority decision of the recent E.U Referendum on 23 June 2016

Petition Details

We the undersigned, ask that HM Government respects the majority decision to leave the European Union. This petition relates to the recent E.U Referendum result, conducted on 23 June 2016, as granted to the people under the European Referendum Act 2015.

Additional Information

On the 23 June 2016, a majority of the British people voted to Leave the European Union. It is therefore an affront to democracy that petition "131,245", located on this website, calls upon HM Government to retrospectively change the percentage required to win on either side, in addition to the turnout rules. Although we the people have absolute faith in HM's Government to respect the will of the people, we hereby wish to register our concern at petition "131,245".
