Petition Action

Investigate the validity of the EU Referendum

Petition Details

Appoint an independent panel to investigate the EU referendum before invoking Article 50 based on reports of voters
-Regretting their decision / using it as a protest vote
-Voting based on misleading information

On sufficient evidence of misjudgement/voters being misled, take corrective action.

Additional Information

Before triggering Article 50, we have an opportunity to sanity check the campaign, results and reaction.

If sufficient evidence exists that voters have been misled or would change their vote, to the extent of a potentially different outcome, this result should not stand.

In insurance people have cooling off periods and are protected against being misled. This is more important.
