Make e-petitions reaching 100,000 signatures the subject of national referendums

Additional Information

This petition calls upon the Government to change the e-petition rules so that any e-petition reaching 100,000 signatures should automatically be put to a national referendum instead of being considered for a debate in the House of Commons.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
