Ban the speed bump and let emergency vhicles use bus lanes at all times whether carrying pasengers or not.

Additional Information

Speed bumps are a hazard.

In particular, ambulances bouncing over them can cause injury to already sick pasesengers such as rupturing tumours, damage to frail or broken limbs. They can throw a vehicle off line, too..

Chicanes are much safer and effective in reducing speed.

Finally, all emergency vehicles registered as such should be allowed to use bus lanes whenever normally permitted.
