Refuse any request for another Scottish independence referendum before May 2020
The constitution is a reserved matter and therefore no consent should be given to another Scottish referendum before May 2020.
The Scotland Act 1998 states that the constitution is a reserved matter therefore consent has to be given by Westminster before any future Scottish independence referendum could take place.
