Ignore a petition for a 2nd EU Referendum.
There is a petition in circulation, stating a "technicality" will allow a 2nd referendum on UK's exit from the EU.
The turnout for this vote (72.2%) was greater than the last general election (66.1%).
If this "mulligan" petition is accepted - it will set a precedent for democratic failure.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
