Petition Action

Gov to rerun the EU referendum as misinformation was used in campaign material.

Petition Details

It has become apparent that some of the primary arguments used by the official campaigns for the recent EU referendum included significant and deliberate misinformation. In effect the UK public were presented with maliciously false prospectus in relation to the UK's continued membership of the EU.

Additional Information

It was implied that a vote to leave the EU would mean £350m extra would be made available to the NHS and that there would be a substantial reduction in net immigration. Since the referendum members of the Leave campaign team has indicated that neither of these would happen.
