Collision avoidance systems (<30mph) should be fitted to cars as soon as possible

Additional Information

The law should require collision avoidance systems to be fitted to all new cars sold in the UK, initially as an optional extra and eventually as a requirement. The equipment needs to prevent collisions between vehicles, and vehicles and pedestrians, at forward speeds lower than 30mph.
