Offer British citizenship to Polish nationals resident in the UK on June 23 2016

Petition Details

The Polish people are longstanding & valued friends and allies of the UK, and we have deep ties which exceed and excel any EU links. We hereby petition the UK Government to extend an offer of automatic British Citizenship to all Polish nationals resident in the UK on June 23rd 2016.

Additional Information

We deeply regret the sense of insult felt by the Polish nation resulting from the referendum decision to leave the EU. We wish to repair our relationship. We wish to recognise the outstanding contribution to peace of the Free Polish Army, and to reassure the UK's widespread, well integrated, Polish-heritage communities, which in many cases pre-date the formation of the EU.
