GPS speed control systems should be fitted to cars as soon as possible

Additional Information

Speed control systems which limit vehicle speed to the road speed limit, based on data from the Global Positioning System, should be fitted to all new cars sold in the UK, initially as an optional extra and eventually as a requirement. The engagement of the system would be under the control of the driver.
