iIleagal drugs to be put on the NHS

Additional Information

The war on drugs is a never ending war that will never be won by direct prohbition, maybe it is time to look at other ways to tackle the problem.

This E-petition is for the Government to at very least look at the concept of setting up a drug program where drug users are given the drugs that they are addicted to.

The main reasons for this are the following.

1,Stops them giving money to drug dealers which goes on the fund other crime.
2,Stops addicts commiting crime to fund their habit.
3,Reduce the number of victims of crime
4.,Will put the drug addicts on the NHS radar where they can be given options to rehabilitate.
5,Reduce the cost of law enforcement.

All we ask is that the Government debates this concept and looks at the potential cost & benifit of implementing such a program.
