Petition Action

Provide the UK population with a 2nd Referendum on whether to remain in the EU

Petition Details

Vote Leave ran a campaign of misinformation and false promises in order to win. A large proportion of the electorate now feel aggrieved at having been deliberately misled. We profess to be a fair and transparent society, so lets prove it - grant a 2nd referendum, this time free from propaganda.

Additional Information

• We were told that £350m a week is sent to the EU - the figure is closer to £100m a week yet was still utilised by the campaign.
• We were told that EU membership funds would be directed to NHS in event of Leave Vote - this has now been dismissed as 'a mistake'
• We were told that to take back control of immigration we would be ending EU free movement - Vote Leave have now conceded that free movement would likely have to remain as part of any future trade agreement with the EU.
