Petition Action

recognise the outcome of the EU referendum without change.

Petition Details

The EU referendum was held by the HM Government on 23 June 2016 in orde that the people of the U.K. Could decides whether to remain in or exit the EU by a simple majority. The U.K. Voted to leave and the government should consider this the final decision and not allow any attempt to change this.

Additional Information

The petition created by remain campaigners to try and change the decision after the event by changing the rules regarding majority voting is totally undemocratic, and was demonstrated when the people rejected the move from a simple majority voting system by the last government. The rules for the Referendum were publicly available prior to the vote and so changing the rules or re running the vote would be a demonstration by the political class that it is not a democracy
