The British public deserves a General Election before Art. 50 is invoked
A Prime Minister not elected by the British public will be in charge of the post-EU referendum negotiations. This is highly undemocratic.
A new democratically elected PM should decide, on behalf of the British people, what is best for Britain after Brexit or if the Art. 50 should be invoked at all.
One of the main reasons for leaving the EU was about how democratic it is. A person elected in a party conference, instead of a General Election, does not have enough legitimacy to lead the UK in the most important negotiation in a generation.
