Petition Action

David Cameron to trigger article 50 of the Lisbon treaty straight away

Petition Details

David Cameron told MPs in February that in the event of a Brexit vote, the British people would "rightly expect" him to trigger article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty "straight away." In order to reduce the period of instability we expect this to be triggered immediately.

Additional Information

Voting is complete, whether you agree with the result or not there is no going back. The best way to move forward is for article 50 to be triggered so we can all work together and adapt to life outside the EU in order to make Britain great once more!
