Allow 16 and 17 year olds to vote in a second EU referendum.
This referendum has a huge direct effect on the young population of the UK, and so they should have the right to have their say in their future without it being unfairly decided for them. This result affects the young people of Britain just as much as the older population if not even more.
This is an important decision and it should be treated similarly to the Scottish referendum where young people of the age of 16 and 17 could vote.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The EU referendum has already taken place. It is therefore no longer possible for the franchise (the groups of people who are entitled to vote) to be changed.
