On 24 June 2016 Prime Minister David Cameron announced his resignation after the UK voted to leave the European Union. David Cameron should remain as the Prime Minister of the UK. It is in the National interest.

The resignation of an individual Minister, including the Prime Minister, is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole. It is a decision for the individual concerned. The UK Government or Parliament cannot stop a Minister resigning.
