Petition Action

To treat the referendum result as advisory and to keep the UK in the EU.

Petition Details

Much incorrect information was supplied by the leave campaign (such as the amount of money that would be saved if the UK left the EU and given directly to the NHS) that has now bee acknowledged as incorrect.

Additional Information

The EU referendum result demonstrated a small degree of support for leaving the EU. However, many people voted not as a protest against the EU but against the the government and opposition parties dismissal of their wants.
We believe that this protest vote has been duly recognised in parliament and will be heeded.
We further believe that the UK's best interests are best served from within the EU and demand the government not to leave.
