Make all political campaign material factually and scientifically accurate.
Modern politics has been described as being in a 'Post Truth Era', where political campaigns are based on fear and negative portrayals of opposing candidates.
We need to ask our political leaders to make it a criminal offence to mislead the public with inaccurate campaign literature.
In the wake of the Scottish Independence and Brexit referendums, it has become increasingly clear that political campaigning has been based on emotive, fact free advertising campaigns.
We ask that misleading information is no longer available to the voting public and that only accurate data be disseminated in order for people to make a genuinely informed choice.
