Make it an offence for any politician to lie to the electorate
Following the EU referendum campaigns make it an offence for any politician to lie to the electorate. Any one proved to have done so shall have a lifetime ban from holding public office and shall have all pensions accruing from any political offices held previously withheld.
To ensure that the electorate are provided with honest and truthful information allowing them to make well informed decisions.
