Enact Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty with immediate effect
The people have over the period of several months have had the chance to consider all arguments about remain or leave and have decided to vote leave. As a consequence of this vote there is now a petition asking for another referendum to try and overturn this decision,
to prevent any further confusion and upset about whether this option is available to the UK public. It is inherent on the British Government to abide by the UK European Referendum, and proceed with the wishes of the majority who voted for Brexit and enact Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty with immediate effect.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
