Petition Details

Reports in the media after the leave vote show that many people voted as a protest but did not expect leave to win and now regret it and say they would vote differently if asked again. As the matter is so serious they should be given this chance.

Additional Information

In addition, reports show people saying that they now understand the consequences of leaving the EU better than they did before the vote.

Finally, in many situations there is a cooling off period - even for simple contracts - this should be the case here too to avoid 'buyer's remorse'.
