IT'S OUR FUTURE TOO - give 16 & 17 year olds the vote across the UK.
Young people overwhelmingly wanted to remain in the EU, and have most to lose from the Brexit campaign. 16 & 17 year olds can vote in Scotland, resulting in a unified remain result. The same rules should apply throughout the UK for every country.
In the Scottish referendum lowering the voting age was at least uniform amongst everyone eligible to vote. In the EU referendum the same rules should apply across the UK as it effects everyone equally.
