Given the result of the referendum the United Kingdom finds itself in a constitutional conflict with two thirds of our elected representatives supporting remaining part of the European Union. This must be resolved by a General Election prior to the submission of article 50 to ensure legality

Additional Information

* Public reference to a circa 73% turnout with 52.5% voting for leave equaling approximately 38% of the population opposing Parliaments will.
* References by many members of Parliament have made public statements on their referendum voting intentions.
* Further references have been made publicly by Sir Gus O'Donnell, previously Secretary to the Cabinet regarding the constitutional dilemma
