Child maintenace reduced - income tax threshold increased

Additional Information

Increase the first tax threshold over the next 10 years, year on year to approximately £15,000.

This will be funded by a linked reduction in child maintenance.

This will help to make work pay whilst making future generations more financially responsbile for funding offspring.

In time as this rebalancing of child maintenance and income tax takes effect, a one-off lump sum paid at birth of a child should assist with preparations for parenthood
