Petition Action

Hold a 2nd EU referendum with the eligible electorate to include 16 and 17 olds.

Petition Details

It was clear from the result on 24th June that the majority (75%) of the the younger electorate (18-24 year olds) voted in favour to remain in the EU. Given that there was a precedent for this in the Scottish independence referendum in 2014, the same opportunity should be given to 16-17 year olds.
