Hold a General Election within 3 months of new Prime Minister taking office.
In June 2016 the UK voted by a majority to leave the EU after being told by the then Prime Minister that he would not resign and would stay to see through the change. After the result was known, the then Prime Minister quit. Any new Prime Minister has not been elected or mandated by the UK
