Brexit. Another referendum should be actioned once all the exit terms are known.
No politician should want to implement a EU exit that currently does not have the support of almost half the population..Only after negotiating the exit terms, can a proper (2nd) referendum be conducted. Without this they can not act with the knowledge that the have sufficient support of the nation.
This is to important to get wrong, no politicians should want to proceed without this due to the very small majority in favor of the currently unknown brexit benefits. The nations interest is paramount so the need to confirm this is obvious. Presently there is no legal requirement to leave. We have been told that we can expect to leave on "good terms" so naturally once this has been provided, without complaint, it should be the nations right to give them the final leave or stay mandate.
