Referendum on Britain's Membership in the EU
Petition to HM Government to debate and discuss holding a referendum on Britain's membership in the EU. The EU has such large influence upon Britons daily lives but has no democratic mandate to do so. The electorate has only had a say on membership of the European Economic Community, the EU's powers go somewhat beyond those of the EEC.
