Call a general election before invoking article 50 of the Lisbon treaty.
I would like a general election to be called prior to invoking article 50, so that a newly elected government can proceed with a mandate to leave or remain in the EU under terms set in the elected governments manifesto. Given that both sides in the EU referendum made dishonest claims.
It is in the interest of everyone that such seismic changes to the future of the United Kingdom are carried out in a transparent and open manner.
