16-17 year olds should be able to vote on issues that affect their future!
There are 1.5 million 16-17 year olds in the UK who are denied the right to decide their own future.
16-17 year olds are legally able to marry and have sex and children. They are mature enough to make decisions about their future.
When the Electorial Commission last consulted the public about extending the right to vote for 16-17 year olds, 72% were in support! Why has this not been actioned? This would have made some difference to the EU referendum!
