Petition Action

In the wake of the Referendum outcome, hold a General Election this year.

Petition Details

In the last election, voting on who to represent us was based on the situation in the country at that time.

Now the situation has changed so dramatically. We should have the chance to elect representatives we think fit to take us forward in this new chapter.

Additional Information

With The Prime Minister resigning, the 150,000 or so members of the Tory party will designate a new leader and in doing so choose the new Prime Minister and therefore the direction this country will take with Europe negotiations and our future. The other 65 million or so people in the UK will have no say at all in the matter.

As the situation has changed so dramatically, then we ALL need to have the chance to think about and chose who we think best to represent us in this new chapter.
