Purposefully misleading public with EU referendum NHS claim
Leave claimed £350m a week would be saved by leaving EU. Putting this into the NHS was a central plank to their campaign. With EU funds received, this figure is actually estimated £161m. Before votes counted, Leave backtracked on NHS commitment. 2nd referendum required due to deliberate misleading.
£161 million figure includes farming subsidies, development funds taken from national newspaper article (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-36040060 ).
NHS commitment labelled "a mistake" by Leave campaign after votes were in.
