Lower the voting age in all UK elections to 16
I believe that we should recognise the abilities of 16 and 17 year olds by granting them the right to vote.
A 16 year old who is in employment may pay income tax but is not entitled to make their views known in elections or to choose their political representatives.
The age-old principle of "no taxation without representation" means the right to vote should be extended to this group.
