Negotiate voluntary EU citizenship for the millions of us that voted remain.
We respect that half of the voters want to leave the EU. However half of us do not. A 2% difference isn't and shouldn't be decisive enough to make such an important decision.
As a compromise, we believe our government should negotiate a opt-in EU citizenship for those of us who wish to remain.
Nearly half of the population do not want to leave the European Union.
It is not fair on those of us, many who were born into the EU, to be stripped of the benefits that come with being a citizen of the EU.
The result of the referendum was not decisive.
If we are to leave the European Union as a nation, those of us who wish to still be citizens of Europe should be given the opportunity to apply for a European passport, so that we can continue to contribute to the European community.
