Petition Action

Hold a second EU referendum to prevent the break-up of the United Kingdom.

Petition Details

You get a 14 day cool-off period to decide whether you want to keep or return an online purchase. This is a bit bigger. No-one anticipated that this vote could lead to the break-up of the United Kingdom. We should be able to reconsider the decision now we are more aware of the consequences.

Additional Information

Knowing what we now know, we should be allowed to have a second vote, with more specific, properly thought-through victory criteria. If, after that process, we still vote for Brexit - fine.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
