Petition that the result of the referendum is upheld and acted upon.
People dissatisfied of the result of the referendum wish the result to be overturned. This is Undemocratic and should not be considered by parliament.
I wish to counter the current petition for a second referendum by demanding that the government accept the democratic process of voting to leave the European Union.
Parliament and politicians must remember that they are servants of the people. This is what democracy means and that they must uphold the will of the majority.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
