Petition Action

UK citizens should be able to accept or decline the negotiated Brexit deal.

Petition Details

With the inaccuracies that informed the Brexit decision. We will at some point start the process of negotiating a departure from EU membership. In order to guard against mistakes of the past we should as citizens of the U.K. be able to accept or decline the offered terms of membership cancellation.

Additional Information

There is already a petition to require a second referendum in light of the close result. An undertaking to ensure that the the Brexit solution is acceptable should be backed by at least 60% of the available voting population. In order to reduce the potential negative effects of inadequate negotiations this would enable the status quo to prevail a more advantageous solution for the UK is found. This would remove any party bias and result in the UK having voted for the direction and the solution.
