Call a 2nd EU Referendum for 16-17 year olds only prior to enacting Article 50.
Following the result of the initial EU Referendum which excluded 16-17 year olds from voting, the UK Government should call a second consolidating referendum to allow this age group to be included in the final decision prior to enacting Article 50 to withdraw the UK from the European Union.
As young people in this age bracket are able to legitimately leave education, can live on their own, get married, pay taxes and die for their country by joining the armed forces, the consequences of Brexit are as affecting for this group as for the core voting populous who have already exercised their right. As the original EU Referendum is not legally binding, the UK Government should provide this opportunity prior to invoking Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty.

The EU referendum has already taken place. It is therefore no longer possible for the franchise (the groups of people who are entitled to vote) to be changed.
