Petition Action

Make claimants work for out of work benefits

Additional Information

Unconditional benefit hand-outs have created a culture of welfare dependency and placed an unfair burden on the hard working members of our society.

Therefore, the government should force all who wish to claim for benefits in this country contribute towards it by working within the community.

Such a policy would not just reduce the tax burden placed on many squeezed workers by reducing unnecessary benefit claims, but would also help claimants to remain a part of society, as well as allowing them to be a benefit to the community until they find a job.
