Petition Action

Legalise Drugs

Additional Information

Over the many years that drugs have been illegal it has created a black market which is worth over eight billion pounds a year which is adding nothing to our economy but are in the hands of the wrong people. In our current financial climate eight billion pounds can be pumped into the economy. Drugs can be taxed ensuring extra money into the economy. Also legalising drugs would reduce young user as it takes away the fear factor, they lose the rush.
Legalising drugs can also benefit the NHS by using drugs for treatment and preventing patients going overseas for treatment.
