EU referendum with the right to vote for British citizens on the continent
British citizens in Europe have a material interest in the outcome: they will continue to be subject to EU laws on the continent even if Britain leaves the EU. Britain will then no longer have any influence over the laws continental Britains must obey.
As continental Britains are in general in favour of Britain remaining in the EU, they could have an important impact on the referendum outcome.
